It looks like, more than hairs, Jennifer Aniston’s hair stylist can also achieve the simple, yet chic simple at his house as well. Let’s check it inside the home of Chris McMillan…

Chris McMillan, stylist to stars like Kim Kardashian, Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon and BFF Jennifer Aniston, teamed up with celeb interior decorator Trip Haenisch to decorate his Los Angeles pad, and the results are completely stunning.
Inside the home is full of modern touches like dark accent pieces, oversized light fixtures and simplistic furniture, the natural elements and punches of pattern add warmth and interest to the rooms.
McMillan trusted Haenisch completely with the designs, saying, “I love Trip’s house so I trusted him 100%. His house is ironic and fun and each square foot is livable space.”
Now McMillan’s home has a similar style, with unique artwork and unexpected colors appearing throughout for a similarly offbeat aesthetic. His favorite way to use his cozy-cool digs: “Binge watch TV,” McMillan says. “I have taco parties and hold a great Christmas party every year. My Christmas tree is amazing.”
To get a similar sleek look without going too stark, follow Haenisch’s expert tips for inside the home:
Turn up the temperature. “The wood adds warmth and texture. Wood never feels cold to me.”
Light the room. “Interesting lighting is everything. The dining room light is a paper lantern that we added tar to. It is playful and went with our color palette, and it was not expensive!”
Put a personal stamp on it. “I designed the fireplace with the curved wall and extended shelf. The herringbone was in red brick that we painted black to go with our color palette.”
Consider the flow. Haenisch started by expanding the interior architecture into “one big living room,” to give the space an open feel. It paid off, as McMillan’s favorite part of the redesigned space is “the light and the view. You can see the sunset and the mountains from one end of the space to the other.”
