Hollywood actors often live in homes and mansions that  for most people only exist in a dream world, and Los Angeles is such world. Nicolas Cage is one such superstar, and so is his former Bel Air property.

The house was sold in 2010 for $10.5million, although the actor originally asked for $35 million, as he had bought it for $6.5million back in 1998.

This 11,817 square feet Bel Air mansion was built in the 1940s with the main structure made primarily of red bricks. Inside it counts 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, 5 fireplaces, and stained glass, a theater, a library, and a 1,800-bottle wine cellar. The house was well known for its extravagant interior decoration and luxurious finishings.

The area around the house includes a swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen with a brick oven and a gated circular motor court.

Although Cage had to sell this and other properties back in the day, because of some financial difficulty, we certainly hope to eyewitness more fabulous Holywood-style mansions appear on our scenery very soon!
