This time, his recent project sits on his own 1923 Spanish Villa, that’s on a hill just above the famous Chateau Marmont. The designer acquired this amazing home that’s full of history, which was once was the property of Ike and Tina Turner and gave it life through his talented design method.

He decided on the creation of a more formal dining area with a 1970s brass pedestal table and space-age chandelier flows right into the Christopher Peacock designed kitchen. There’s also a high-top marble table and brass pendants from Bullard’s Corbett Lighting collection.

At Martyn’s new home you can find some incredible Moroccan arches, marble floors, black-and-white tiles, warm leafy accents, cool brass, and many bespoke items. His goal was definitely to perfectly combine the Mid-Century style with great antiques. Color and pattern mixing it’s also a tricky thing to accomplish, but there’s no one better to do it than the master of color, Martyn Lawrence Bullard.
