The interior designer felt her growing potential while working with interior design inspirations such as David Easton, Mica Ertegun, and Haynes-Roberts. After years and years of experinece, in 2007, she opened her own home boutique, Georgia Tapert Living, in downtown Manhattan. Within a year, she launched Carolina George, a furniture, fabric and interior design firm in New York City.

It was in 2011 that Georgia Tapert Howe moved to Los Angeles, and took a major step forward when she created her own full service interior design company.
