California and Los Angeles to be more specific are displaying incredible accomplishments in multiple fronts. Today, Los Angeles Homes is about to present this creative selection of artists that promise to take the design world by storm.

Ben Medansky

Inspired by the design icon Kelly Wearstler, Ben Medansky has been creating wall murals, fireplace surrounds, and totems, including a 50-foot piece for Wearstler’s Proper Hotel in Downtown L.A.

 

 

Block Shop

After starting with graphic scarves, Block Shop has expanded into a home collection that includes pillows, bedding, rugs, and, debuting this spring, fabric by the yard. Their creations are incredibly suitable for every interior design aficionado, who loves to create an ambiance around the house!

Frances Merrill

Frances Merrill stands on design full of color, pattern, and texture to spectacular effect. Her current residential projects include a midcentury home in Altadena (shown), a Tudor residence in the Bay Area, and a 1912 beach house in Gloucester, Massachusetts.

 

 

Ryan Belli

Ryan Belli’s designs are eccentric and authentic, to say the least. To get to that conclusion, you only need to admire the impressive hand-carved wood tables and seating, inspired by natural phenomenons such as the rock formations of Bryce Canyon.

 

 

Matt Gagnon

Matt Gagnon is recognized for creating furnishings for Nike, a series of stacked light totems that have made their way into Peter Marino boutiques for Chanel and Vuitton. Recently he has created a 65-foot-long, illuminated, interactive map of the solar system for NASA’s Deep Space Network facility.

 

Emily Farnham

Emily Farnham has been recognized for her amazing work since 2014 after stints at such prestigious firms as SOM, Architecture Research Office, and Mark Cavagnero.

Terremoto

Terremoto has become one of the most sought-after landscape practices in California, with recent projects spanning the Platform Park in Culver City and private residences.

 

Waka Waka

Waka Waka creates mesmerizing sculptural seating, shelving, and site-specific installations. Recently he has been adventuring himself into metalwork, with more departures, among them an Adidas collaboration, on the future.
