This residential complex was built out of modest materials, in order to adapt to every continuous change that happens with every family dynamic. This translates into a super innovative project because these complexes are able to transform according to the family lifestyle, which can be pretty unpredictable.
Sobieski House‘s floors are layered with concrete, while painted pegboard has been used to achieve a lightweight and very illuminated ceiling. There’s also a secondary indoor circulation that gives residents the opportunity to have a short cut route when wet weather surfaces. Once again, Koning Eizenberg created this project with an innovative approach, facilitating all the amenities.
The interior of the Sobieski House features living and sleeping spaces, that purposely share entrances to the outside. This architectural project also contains earth tubes that sit on the goal of achieving cold air, without using air conditioning. This is an element that really makes this architectural firm to stand out in this industry, with these innovative aspects.
