The 101 Ocean of Ave. Santa Monica was built in 1963, but in 1993, the building was completely renovated.
The renovated 101 Ocean won two awards for architects Felderman Keatinge + Associates: “Urban Beautification Award: Best Remodeled High-rise” from the Los Angeles Business Council; and “M.A.M.E. Award for Best High-rise Unit Plans” from the Building Industry of Southern California.

Perched prominently on the Santa Monica Palisades at the edge of the Pacific and with views of the Palos Verdes peninsula to Malibu. With 187,000 square-foot 101 Ocean rental complex is a luxury condominium, that has been re-worked by thearchitects Stanley Felderman and Stephen Giannetti.

The custom-designed 20-foot stainless steel tube-like light fixture directs the eye to a floor-to-ceiling view of the ocean and mountains of Malibu. From the roof-top lobby, glass elevators take homeowners and visitors to the private entry vestibules for each of the 59 residences. The security complex offers valet parking, swimming pool, spa and state-of-the-art fitness center.
